Vinyasa yoga is rhythmic in nature. The poses, and the flow between them, operate in harmony, much like moves in a dance. An athlete’s breath serves as the beat, signaling the change from one pose to the next. Beginning in February, this style of yoga comes to the Nike+ Training Club App in the form of Traci Copeland’s Vinyasa Rush Workout.
Designed by the Nike Master Trainer, the 15-minute studio workout aims to appeal to both yoga veterans and beginners. It includes chair, triangle and pyramid poses, as well as movements such as high lunges. With Copeland leading the way, users will engage in five drills that place a particular emphasis on building strength in the legs and core.
The Vinyasa Rush Workout arrives in the N+TC App Feb. 1. To learn more about the app or shop Traci Copeland’s training look, which includes the Nike Studio Wrap, visit Nike.com.
